Dr. Donaid Seals brings over twenty five years of clinical chiropractic experience and a lifetime of curiosity and dedication to health and healing. His journey began more than forty years ago, in a time when wellness was still on the fringes—long before health food stores were mainstream, before big business warped the supplements industry, and when fitness inspiration came from Jack LaLanne (Jack became a chiropractor) and chrome-plated gym equipment.
“Most people hadn’t even heard of yogurt,” he recalls. “You had to go to a health-food store to find it; brands like Danon and Alta Dena were national pioneers. Alta Dena was the stalwart of raw milk products as well. Back then, natural foods were the Wild West—no flashy marketing, no influencer endorsements. Products succeeded based on what worked, not what was advertised. I remember watching older adults in phenomenal shape at Bally’s gyms—strong, healthy, active. That image stuck with me. It shaped how I saw the connection between lifestyle and longevity.”
This deep-rooted fascination with wellness, performance, and prevention eventually led Dr. Seals into the natural foods industry. For over a decade, he helped people navigate early supplement culture, studying what truly worked and developing an intuition for nutrition and healing. But it wasn’t until a pivotal moment—when, as a health food store manager, he realized that the most knowledgeable customers had all been guided by chiropractors—that Dr. Seals found his calling.
“That’s when I knew: I needed to become a chiropractor. I wanted to help people understand their health at the root level.”
Education
He went on to graduate cum laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1998, and has been in active practice ever since. Dr. Seals has proudly help serve patients across the CSRA.
He is a member of both the Florida Chiropractic Physicians Association and the Georgia Chiropractic Association and continues to learn, write, and teach—one blog, one post, and one patient at a time.
Philosophy & Approach
Dr. Seals believes that healing starts with understanding—and that pain is not the problem, but a clue. His approach blends traditional chiropractic adjustment with corrective movement, personalized lifestyle support, and holistic nutritional guidance. He’s not just here to relieve symptoms—he’s here to help patients reclaim their resilience and thrive in the long run.
Outside the Clinic
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Seals enjoys scuba diving, lifting weights, riding ATVs, cycling, and gardening. He shares life in Georgia with his wife and their beloved rottweiler and corgi, and he remains deeply connected to the community through local wellness initiatives and educational outreach.
Adjusting Techniques
Adjusting technique is the place where science meets art in conservative healthcare. All techniques are a body of care that meld diagnostic assessment with treatment intervention. Dr. Seals trained at Parker College (now University!) where he was instructed in traditional osseous techniques such as diversified and Gonstead as well as instrument assisted techniques such as Activator, Thompson and Flexion/Distraction as well as more metabolic interventions such as Applied Kinesiology. In practice, every provider pulls from the things learned to arrive at the best intervention for his/her patient. Dr. Seals is no different. The following is as close as you will get to a straight answer when you ask him what technique he uses.
As doctors, we have a responsibility to grow and build our profession, standing on the shoulders of those who have trained us to in order to hand a vibrant, living craft to those who follow- doctor and patient alike.
Targeted Diversified Adjustments
Dr. Seals primarily uses the Diversified Technique, one of the most widely practiced and trusted manual chiropractic adjustment methods. This hands-on approach focuses on restoring proper movement and alignment to specific joints through quick, controlled thrusts. What sets Dr. Seals apart is his targeted application of this technique. Rather than making broad or generalized adjustments, he assesses each patient’s unique biomechanics and applies focused corrections to areas that are truly misaligned. This leads to more efficient outcomes, less overall strain on the body, and longer-lasting relief.

Instrument-Assisted Technique
For patients who prefer a lighter approach or who have conditions that make manual adjustments less ideal, Dr. Seals is experienced in using instrument-assisted techniques. This includes tools such as the Activator®, which deliver quick, gentle impulses to specific points on the spine or extremities. Instrument-assisted adjustments are especially effective for patients who have just been in a trauma, like a car accident or have extremely painful muscles Dr. Seals uses these tools when appropriate, but strives to get patients in a place where they can tolerate a more direct adjustment.
Tissue and Motion-Based Correction
Chiropractic care isn’t just about bones—it’s about how muscles, fascia, and joints all work together. Dr. Seals uses an integrated approach that blends soft tissue work, myofascial release, and dynamic movement to reduce restrictions and enhance mobility. This method doesn’t just relieve tension temporarily—it supports lasting structural improvements and improved nervous system function. This amalgam of techniques helps patients not only get better adjustments, but stay adjusted.
