The Grovetown Chiropractic Approach
Multiple Adjusting Techniques
As a graduate of Parker University and a life-long student of nutrition and physical wellness, Dr. Seals is fluent in a variety of chiropractic techniques including Diversified and Extremity Manipulating. He employs elements of Applied Kinesiology, Sacro Occipital, and uses instrument assisted adjusting.
We firmly believe in using the most effective techniques available while keeping our patients’ safety and comfort front of mind. At Grovetown Chiropractic, we use hands-on, all-natural care to help identify the root causes of pain and help you reach your wellness goals.
Physical Modalities
In addition to a combination of ice and heat therapy, Grovetown Chiropractic has intersegmental traction tables and interferential therapy to ensure lasting recovery.
The interferential therapy works by sending controlled currents to areas selected by the doctor after an exam. Those currents help release endorphins (natural pain relievers) that reduces the swelling and sensitivity responsible triggering pain and discomfort.
We deploy cryotherapy in a way in order to achieve vasodilatation. This, along with the IST table helps ensure patients are staying adjusted™.
Car Accident care
A car accident is a traumatic experience. If you’ve experienced whiplash or other severe injuries following a collision, the symptoms may not be immediately obvious. A stiff neck or a sore shoulder can be the hidden signs of a deeper issue.
With a combination on-site imaging, full examinations, and comprehensive adjustments, we make your health and recovery our primary goal. For many patients, getting back to your regular life after an accident is a top priority – and our mission is always to help you start living your healthiest life again as quickly as possible.
Therapeutic Exercise
If you have come to us with an injury, we manage to arrive at a place where your symptoms improve and you are feeling better. We have found however, that feeling better is not necessarily good enough. We consider the recovery process galvinized and complete when our patient has arrived at a place where they can do the work and activities that they could do before they were injured. Active care is central to that process.
Physiotherapy is our way of giving you the tools you need to keep your body in motion and reduce the amount of time you need to spend here in the office. Demonstrated in the office or by our videos, these take-home exercises require little to no equipment and are customized to your goals to help keep pain or injuries from reoccurring.
Postural Screening
Our posture says a lot about the health of our spines – so what is yours saying?
Postural screenings help identify the everyday behaviors (like hunching over at your work desk, or performing certain exercises at the gym incorrectly) that could be having a major impact on your muscles and joints.
Better understanding of your natural physiology, routine adjustments, and the stretches you can do from home (or even at your desk) can help alleviate this pressure and enhance the way your body feels and moves.
Pediatric Care
Dr. Seals cares for babies and children too! Ever present in care modeling for all of our patients, emphasis on staying adjusted finds it’s highest percentages of success with younger people. Problem-oriented care often yields a succinct treatment experience. If mom or dad has noticed a change in their child’s normal activities, don’t hesitate to come to the chiropractor; we’ll provide care and/or make medical referral recommendations as appropriate.
If your kid is not the patient, we are a kid friendly practice. We have toys, books, coloring pages and kid shows to keep your kids having fun while you are getting seen by the doctor.
Prenatal Care
Expectant mothers rightfully require a more sensitive touch.
By applying more gentle therapy techniques, prenatal adjustments can help relieve the intense lower back pain mothers feel in the later stages of pregnancy. Both safe and effective, chiropractic care is a drug-free solution clinically proven to support a better pregnancy and delivery for both mother and baby.
